getting creepy

so i am pretty creeped out right now. i started reading Eclipse tonight at work to try and keep my mind off the events of the day when i realize the concept of Eclipse is Bella trying to make everyone happy and finding out she can't. She is trying to have a relationship with Edward while trying to patch up her relationship with Jacob. what did i do tonight? try to make everyone happy and it blew up in my face. Steel is jacob black in this situation(family) devin is edward, and i am bella. i tried to do what i thought would have no consequence and make devin feel better but i ended up hurting steel in the process. there is a specific scene in the book where edward tells bells it isn't her fault, which are the exact words i heard tonight. "cheyenne, don't feel guilty, it isn't your fault."

all i know is that got really weird. why is stephenie meyer such a good wrtiter?!
